For the South Coast surf forecast, this weekend is looking good with light winds and waves in the 3 foot plus region.
The upper South Coast looks to have the better winds though. Spots like Umzumbe seem to be a bit more blown out.
Into next week and the Scottburgh surf report looks good for Tuesday.
Summer is here!

Super light winds around Scottburgh on the weekend should make for some fun conditions.
After that we have some east conditions for the South Coast surf report until Thursday morning when a South West kicks in for some early action.

On the South Coast, Saturday looks pretty small but surfable, Sunday you will need to get in their early before the east ruins things.
Tuesday there is some swell so hopefully the wind stays light.
Check out the Scottburgh surf report for the latest.
The South Coast region starts on the Bluff off Durban harbour and extends down to the start of the Wild Coast past Port Edward.
The Scottburgh surf report is updated hourly. The surf is consistent year round with the best swells being in the winter months between April and July. In the summer months the water is warm and only boardshorts are required. In winter either a spring suit or 2-3mm wetsuits will be fine. The water quality is generally very good except after summer heavy rains when the water can become brown and dirty.
There is a large variety of waves from beach breaks to point breaks. There are some world class spots such as Cave Rock, Scottburgh and Umzumbe.
