There is some solid south swell lining up for the Cape Town surf report for the next couple of days.
The waves should be proper size around Muizenberg and the south beaches.
The west facing beaches are not going to get much action though.
The swell will have dropped by Tuesday so if you into glassy fun waves, Tuesday afternoon Muizenberg.

Cape Town, the mother city, on the Southern tip of Africa has a large variety of surf spots.
Every type of surfer is catered for, from the huge slab called Dungeons to crowded sandy beach breaks like Muizenberg. The water is cold all year round requiring a wetsuit although the Indian Ocean side is slightly warmer. The water quality is good although high winds can be a problem. It is also worth being aware of sharks although attacks are rare.
With such a large variety of breaks and conditions on offer there really is a wave for everyone. The secret is to stay tuned to Wavestoked's Cape Town surf report for hourly updates.
