Eish, Saturday the Muizenberg surf report is small surf but you will need to be early before the wind ruins things.
The Muizenberg surf forecast into next week is just pretty much small, small waves. Sorry.
Wednesday the Bloubergstrand surf report is looking pretty good with 3 foot waves and light winds.
Cape Town, the mother city, on the Southern tip of Africa has a large variety of surf spots.
Every type of surfer is catered for, from the huge slab called Dungeons to crowded sandy beach breaks like Muizenberg. The water is cold all year round requiring a wetsuit although the Indian Ocean side is slightly warmer. The water quality is good although high winds can be a problem. It is also worth being aware of sharks although attacks are rare.
With such a large variety of breaks and conditions on offer there really is a wave for everyone. The secret is to stay tuned to Wavestoked's Cape Town surf report for hourly updates.
